110 N. First Street is mixed-use building near the corner of East State and First Streets. It features ground floor retail and second-floor apartments. It is one of UEP's first downtown redevelopment projects.
The stretch of Madison Street from East State to the YMCA marks Rockford's East Bank District. The area is highlighted by a picturesque view of the Rock River as it meanders through downtown. The UW Health Sports Factory, Rockford Park District's Riverview Ice House, Prairie Street Brewing Company, Mary's Place, American Lombardi Club and the Verdi Club mark the area's entertainment hot spots.
